At an altitude of 240m, on a wooded spur of the Madonie mountains, facing the clear blue sea of Pollina, the nineteenth-century country estate of Tenuta Luogomarchese is set amongst old medieval hamlets and fishing villages.
From this estate experience a landscape of outstanding beauty, wich offers a glimpse of Sicilian heritage; relive its past amongst the ancient ruins left behind by passing civilizations and share in the customs and traditions still here today.
Tourist trails lead you to places of natural beauty along beaches, through woodland, olive groves and ash trees, taking you to places of cultural interest, showing you the delights of our local handmade crafts and produce.
We'll take you on guided tours around towns and cities of artistic and historical interest such as Palermo and Monreale. Alternatively to Cefalù, just a few kilometres away, an ancient fishing town with its narrow, winding, cobbied streets and splendid, sandy beaches. Nearby lies S.Stefano di Camastra famous for its ceramics, Castelbuono and Geraci with their imposing castles testifying to the ancient feud between the Counts of the Ventimiglia.
To complete the picture the horse is the ideal companion. Expert guides of the Equestrian centre accompany experienced riders to enjoy excursions through the Madonia woods.
